If you want your website to appear in the search you've got to let Google know about it, Hello Folks and Thank you for joining my course. In this lesson, we are going to learn how to verify your website with Google search console.

In the last course , I've shown you how to make sure if your website is getting indexed by using the search operator (site:”example.com”) ; however,You can also use it for verifying, if the website data is synchronized with Google search console.
If google search returns a list of website pages that means your website is fully setup with google search console.
Otherwise, if you get a highlighted title on the search results,invite you to try google search console. That means your website is not set up and your pages can't be seen by visitors.
“Now after you understand how auditing a website index status should be , let's submit the website into google search console.
1.Login Google Search Console
Open up google search console then signing with your gmail account
2.Add your URL
Insert your website in the "URL prefix" section and click continue. “Don't forget
to insert http and https together”
3.Choose verify method
Choose the html tag as verifying method is recommended by Google
4.Copy HTML Tag
Copy the meta tag and go back to your website admin panel
5.Paste The Code
Past the meta tag in the head section of your html before the closing tag
6.Complete the verification

After the linking is done press the verify button, and your site will be added to your Google Search Console.
You should be able to see the following message “ownership verified”
And done.
